ROBERT BARTON-ANCLIFFE
Contributor
Robert Barton-Ancliffe has lived in Cheltenham for over ten years.
He is a fan of all things genre, having grown up with Target Doctor Who novelisations and many unsuccessful models of the Starship Enterprise to show for it.
He's known for frequently disagreeing with the popular consensus on much loved TV shows and movies, and would be the first to tell you he thinks Joss Whedon is overrated. Heresy!
He is currently addicted to superhero comics, old films, and baking cakes.
But aside from that, he is the manliest of men!

PHIL DAVIES
Contributor
Phil Davies emerged from the harsh ghetto streets of Swansea City, aged 7. His life took him on a path to the (Gloucester)shire, where thick local accents and many ciders seemed to fuel a burning desire for videogames, cinema, music and pretty much anything else seen within 'geek' culture.
His defined, rugged and toned body - along with his intellegent, whitty personality - have seen him rise to the peaks of social status.*
And yes - Sonic is still better than Mario.
* None of this is true. At all.

PHIL DOYLE
Contributor
Phil Doyle is one of the creators of abadeducation.com and co-host of the sonicsring.com podcast.
His real job is in insurance which he hopes won't be forever.
He has every issue of the 1990s Midnight Sons crossover and does not feel guilty about it.
He also has a complete set of Marvel 2099 first issues, even Ravage 2099. No one knows if that's commitment, or masochism.

MARTIN S. SMITH
Former Contributor
Martin S Smith spends a good deal of his time under the guise of Deserted By Dignity Publishing, putting together books like The Redundancy of Flightless Birds, which some wonderful people buy, read and enjoy. The Taste of Rising Bile is his other weekly commitment that he just about keeps up with and he's occasionally in Cereal:Geek, where he writes about cartoons older than he is.
When not writing, he's irrationally demonising exclamation marks, polo shirts, giraffes and Luxembourg while painting miniatures and thinking far too much about Doctor Who and Transformers.

SAFFRON THREADS
Former Contributor
Saffron is an avid escapist and traveller and has several natural habitats. In the summer, she can be found running around LARP sites, hiking up mountains and avoiding sunburn. In the winter, she can be found reading fantasy, sci-fi and historical fiction or watching TV series with believable characters in believable-but-not-real settings.
She emerges into the Real World occasionally in search of a Nice Cup of Tea and some more knitting yarn or embroidery thread to tend her crafting addiction. Regular RPGs fuel her escapist addiction during the dark winter days, where she specialises in irreverent characters with authority issues.
Saffron writes her own blog at: http://redhairedhiker.blogspot.com/. Go check it out!

D KAI WILSON-VIOLA
Contributor
D Kai Wilson-Viola is a writer and artist living in Gloucester. She moved here from Edinburgh nearly five years ago after following her very geeky other half down here. By day she’s a mild mannered copywriter and student at the local University, but by night she writes horror, thrillers and blogs about everything from mental health to gaming.
When not writing or roleplaying she can usually be found running around a post-apocalyptic wasteland (which is a must for zombie writers) in several games, or spending quality time with her family.
Her first book, ‘Glass Block’ is coming soon, and it’s probably not the last book she’ll write. You can catch lots of her craziness at http://kai-o-9-tales.com/ – where all her blogs converge and breed, or at http://writers-bookshelf.com/ where she talks writing (mostly) and gaming (occasionally).
